The motto of the Optimist Club of Quincy is "Friend of Youth". We work to create events to that bring out the best in kids in our community. We hold fundraisers to make money to grant to programs that serve children. We volunteer to help events that are making our community a better place to live.
For more than over 60 years, our Optimist Club has increased and maintained a membership of currently about 45-50. But with today's busier-than-ever schedules, and people moving around, we're in need of a handful of new members who would like to step in and give us a hand.
For information on joining - attending a meeting - or helping with an event, please contact us online.
